Jim’s main goal is customer satisfaction. He accomplishes this by helping his clients discover the “Big Why” beneath their wants and desires. Jim earned his Real Estate Sales license in 1975 and his Alabama Broker’s license in 2008. Previously, he worked with BellSouth for 30 years in customer service in the engineering, maintenance, and construction departments. He and his wife of 41 years, Lucy, built their own home in Brook Highland in 1991. They reside there still today.

-Studied at Auburn University prior to UAB
-Rugby Player at both Auburn and UAB
-Graduate of Ramsay High School in Birmingham
-Proud father of two grown children and Grandfather to two young grandchildren, George and Lucile Hayes.
-Deacon at McElwain Baptist Church
-Earned Private Pilot Single Engine Land License in 1974 while at Auburn
-Enjoys gardening, traveling, and watching college football.
